NVBK America Ringsport Program
(American Ringsport)

The NVBK originates in Belgium.  The Belgian ringsport is where NVBK America decided to work and train there dogs.  It is a dog training program that consists of obedience, agility, and protection.   Each Judge designs each trial differently.  The rules are 99 % the same as NVBK Belgium.  The only difference is that in the Belgian program your dog must always bite in one of two places.  The fore arm or the lower leg.  In our Program your dog can target any other part of your body.  The same bite quality rules apply.  The training is the product of years of Belgian training experience.  The Belgians started dog training clubs150 years ago.  They Originated the Mechelaar (Belgian Malinois Breed) in Mechelen Belgium.  As trainers and Breeders.  They have no equals.  This dog training program provides you the handler with the best end product of all programs.  A solid dog.

As a handler you will love to train.  It is fun and ever changing from training to training.  As a decoy you will love it.  It is about not helping the dog to stay on the bite.  You don't have to kill yourself by running around trying to help keep the dog on the bite.  It's about Starting with a good dog, a dog that does not need help staying on the bite.  A dog that wants to work alone.   The dog has to be strong minded and have a big heart.  The dog develops intelligence.  He is force to think and figure things out.  The dog has to be very agile.  The most difficult jumps of all dog sports are there for him to develop his speed, gliding and elevation abilities.  The bite work produces a powerful hard hitting environmentally sound confident independent full mouth power bite.  The enfaces is on the quality of every bite.  Oh!  Yeah, and a civil street K9.  No other programs puts the total package together such as NVBK America Program.

The trials start at entry level category 3.  You continue on to category 2, and after to category 1.  Category 3 is the easiest, category 2 is harder, and category 1 is the most difficult.

The program as a foundation for breeding is the maximum in producing the ultimate working dog.  If your dog can function in the NVBK America Program it will prove that it is worthy as a stud dog for the breed.

TRAJECTORY OF TITLING A DOG IN OUR PROGRAM

CAT - 3 (entry level)
Five passing scores of 300 out of 400 points

CAT – 2
Three passing scores of 340 out of 400 points

CAT - 1
All scores passing.  Placement only.

All three categories have the same exercises, but each level is judged, decoyed, and configured at a greater level of difficulty as you advance from one category to another.  Each trial at every level has the same exercises, but the Judge will vary each exercise's content every trial, making no trial the same and adding a higher degree of difficulty for the preparation of a handler and dog for each trial.
